Sadbhavana Gramin Vikas Sanstha, is a nongovernmental voluntary organization founded by a group of likeminded youths, in particular to address the problems of deprived sections living in the rural areas and improve their socio-economic condition through upliftment of their livelihoods through the means and directives as contemplated kin their imagination adding with the modern technology & resources mobilization.

Since Pas 22 years its existence the SGVS is working on envisages enabling rural poor to overcome poverty by developing sustaining means, it so as to increase their socio economic status, household on farms and off farms livelihoods, allowing household to face production and market risk without falling back in to poverty and distress. In order to achieve goal the target group from same socio-economic status will form various group that is WCs, JLGs, SHGs and VDCs. These group will be encouraged to undertake micro enterprises activities (on farm and off farm), SSI, SMEs which will link to the market.

Inline to this SGVS have undertaken the micro watershed development program having concept rain water harvesting, conservation, storage & ground water recharge based on micro watershed development that has been funded through Jawaharlal Neharu Port Trust [JNPT] Mumbai. Under this program watershed development work such as Nala deepening, Nala widening & drainage line treatment have carried out according to ridge to valley concept. There is around 15000 Ha area bought under micro watershed development. The organization have implemented various low cost watershed development projects such as GB, Nala Deepening, Nala Widening, farm pond, well recharge, recharge shaft, Farm banding, CCT, Gabian structure etc funded though IWMP, CAIM, Jalyukta Shivar Abhiyan & JNPT in around 54 villages in Wardha and Jalna district of Maharashtra. This helped the villages to conserve water and soil and enhanced ground water level that helped to increase the level of agriculture income of farmers.

SGVS have undertaken different activities to enhance active participation of women. The programs like micro credit and micro finance have empowered women. These encouraged women of SHGs initiate income generating activities and actively participate in decision making process through gramsabhas.

Apart from this organization strives to involvement is child rights and child labour eradication projects & conservation of natural resources through networking with NGOs in eastern Vidarbha.
